EU ORDERS – UPDATE REGARDING TARIFFS AS OF 1st JULY

As a follow up to our previous news post re the new EU tariffs being imposed on all postal and carrier companies across the world sending items into the EU, it seems that some EU countries are now not allowing postal services to send items in to their country using DDU – Delivery Duties Unpaid (which means the customer pays the duty at their end), and will only allow PDDP – Postal Delivered Duties Paid services (which means the customer pays the calculated duties and fees at point of ordering).. which is a total nightmare.

As we mentioned previously, our e-commerce system (and many others) as yet, cannot calculate these new EU tariff fees on a per HS code category basis, so we cannot correctly calculate the duty / fees due per order for you to pay in advance.

For the time being we will have to send all EU orders via DPD or A N Other courier that will allow us to send your order to you and they will contact you and collect the necessary duty and fees on / before delivery.

As soon as we can implement a working Postal Delivered Duties Paid (PDDP) system that will work for the new EU duties rules, we will update you all.

Again we are sorry.. but like our USA customers, we have no control over this new tax for our European customers.
