501st badges not visible on the website?

The 501st badges have been removed at present until March – the start of the new 501st term. It’s a requirement of all approved 501st merch that sales end in Feb and items have to be reapproved for the new term after the Legion elections.
All being well these will be reapproved and we can start making them again in March and onwards for 2021 but please don’t take this for granted.
Keep an eye on our Facebook group page and the website for updates.

Premises move almost complete

Just a quick update to say that our premises move is now complete. We are at last in our new building now and all the equipment is in place too, but we still have a lot to sort out and organise, including comms… which due to Covid movement restrictions seems to be taking FOREVERRRR 🙁

We are still on plan to start the May/June orders production run in July as detailed in the May post below, so thank you for bearing with us.

Stay safe everyone.

May / June 2020 badge orders

At this moment in time, the May and June 2020 order runs are being combined as we will be moving premises during week 1 and 2 of June, and therefore may not be able to process orders and make the merch as all our equipment will be relocated during this time. If we are up and running sooner than planned we will update you accordingly, but thought it best at this stage to manage expectation.

Ordering – Phase A – OPEN
Badge ‘Order Run’ dates: Open now 1st May through to Midnight (UK time) 30th June 2020.
(Orders containing ID badges can be placed during these dates but please note that none will be processed, manufactured or dispatched during these dates).

Order Processing, manufacturing and Shipping – Phase B
Badge ‘Order Processing, Manufacturer and Shipping’ dates: 1st through to 17th July

(During this time, orders containing ID badges received during Phase A will be bulked together, processed, manufactured and dispatched).

UPDATE – March 2020 orders now being processed and manufactured

As you will have seen from the updates on our Facebook page, we have now been able to start manufacturing  and processing all the March orders. Mugs, coin frames, kit box discs, water bottles, and coasters have all now been cut and engraved / printed and many of these smaller ‘non badge’ orders will be packed and dispatched next week.

The biggest task is the kit box plates and ID badges of which there are many… and we will start processing and manufacturing these next week. Please stay tuned for updates.

IMPORTANT – CHANGES TO THE CURRENT ORDERING / PROCESSING / SHIPPING SYSTEM IN LIGHT OF COVID-19

The March ID Badge Order Run is now closed. As ever, many thanks indeed to everyone who ordered during this run.
Normally, we would now begin the process of ‘Order Processing, Manufacturer and Shipping’ of the March orders between now and 17th April 2020.

Sadly this cannot happen at this time 😔 Believe me is just as frustrating for us as it is you – we love making our shiny stuff just as much as you like getting it.

As soon as we can safely get back into the office and workshop and start production you’ll be the first to know.
Simply for the process of managing orders by date (as we normally do) we will still open an April ‘Order Run’ as normal from today, although tbh we are not expecting many orders at this time, but we don’t what to stop anyone ordering.

Please stay safe everyone – we will all get through this somehow

March 2020 orders – Covid-19 Update – Delayed manufacturing and shipping at this time.

Good morning everyone, I hope this message finds you well and staying safe in the current situation we all find ourselves in at present.

I woke this weekend with a horrible cold and not feeling great – so as you can appreciate, for the safety and wellbeing of our small office, my family and others in our building, we had no option but to take the decision yesterday (Sunday) to start self isolating as a family and to close our office and workshop this week and work as best as we can remotely, which I know some of you are already doing or planning for.

We will review our situation and the UK government advice/guidelines this time next week and update you then, but for the time being please note the following:

Currently, any and all manufacturing work that we currently carry out in house including laser cut and engraved merchandise, mugs, coasters, kit box plates etc… and of course the precious and much loved ID badges, cannot for obvious reasons carry on at this moment in time L

Due to the surge in last minute orders before the 501st merch cut off on the 10th, we had in fact already started work on the current March 2020 orders in readiness of a potential delay in light of Covid-19, but it seem my health and government advice has beaten us to the post.

As much as I’d love to, it is physically impossible to move and relocate our equipment, including an enormous laser engraver, extraction unit and coolant system into my conservatory and just carry on from home J – my wife and family are very understanding, but there are limits!

What we make is not considered priority or essential equipment at this current time. But I also understand that we all need the nice shiny stuff too. Lifting spirits, keeping people smiling and happy is just as important as our general health and wellbeing.. so I understand its frustrating that your merch might not be delivered as soon as you would like – believe me I get it. We will do our best to keep you all smiling and get your shiny stuff to you as soon as we can, but please bear with me.

Wishing you all well during this difficult situation and unprecedented times we currently find ourselves in. Please stay safe everyone and I will keep you posted regarding progress with existing orders as and when we can.

Unit Merch announcement on FB and 501st boards

By now I’m guessing most of you have seen the announcement on the AG Facebook group page ( click here to read ) or the 501st Boards in our merch sections ( click here to read ).

I won’t list the whole message here again, but suffice to say we are working with LMBO to see what can be done re official merch going forward, and I’ll keep you up to date with any progress as and when.

If you are not already a member of the closed ‘members only’ Facebook group, I would recommend joining (click on the link above) as this is currently one of our main communication channels.
